Make it Monday: Butterflies!

Hello friends! Yesterday was Mother’s Day in Australia and I received this beautiful bouquet from ‘my girls’ (daughter and granddaughter) – they know I love flowers! 

I gave myself an early Mother’s Day present and bought this stamp and die bundle weeks ago (its now retired) and opened it for the first time this afternoon 🙂 These are the stamps:

And here are the coordinating dies – there are lots of them!!

The set only has one stamp which has multiple butterflies: 

I always use a stamping platform for these larger stamps; I inked it up in Gorgeous Grape: 

Pressing the stamp down requires two hands so I stand when doing this 🙂

And voila! 

It produced a crisp and clear image:

This large die then fits over all the images …

… and it cuts out 6 butterflies with one pass through the die-cutting machine: brilliant!

Not the best photo, but I chose an embossed butterfly layer for the card:

This is the largest butterfly with some glimmer (Wink of Stella) on its wings – shame its so hard to photograph the shimmer!

I may or may not add a sentiment … :
