Easter Egg Boxes!

Hello friends! I was looking for a quick way to package these Cadbury hollow Easter Eggs (6cm x 4cm approx):

Step 1 was to make a small box prototype using my Gift Box Punch Board – the finished box turned out to be the perfect size!

Step 2 was to choose some 15cm x 15cm paper from my stash which was easy to do once I found this Oh So Ombre retired paper from Stampin’ Up! – it had egg-shaped patterns 🙂

Making boxes was simple using the board, just punch and score around the 4 sides of the paper:

And the reverse punch created the box closure:

I need to think of a way to use up these small scraps!

While the process was straightforward, preparing 20 boxes for the eggs was a lot of punching and scoring!

10 eggs in individual boxes, another 10 to go 🙂

A closer look at one:

MEANWHILE …our oldest son’s cat is visiting again and my lap continues to be one of his favourite resting places 😉

Thanks so much for spending some time with me and I hope to see you again soon 🙂 Megan xo
