Make it Monday: ‘A Little Cheesy’ Card!

Hello friends! Welcome to the last month of Autumn (in the southern hemisphere) and my 5th year participating in the ‘A Card a Day in May’ challenge  This year I’ll be focusing on punny, and hopefully funny, cards! Before I share the first one, check out our new fridge – it only took us 3 months to make the purchase! We  stayed with Samsung as we knew this fridge would fit into the cavity space:

I’m starting off with some food puns from the A Little Cheesy stamp set:

Colouring the cheese was quick and easy as all the Stampin’ Blends have both a thick and thin tip:  

I fussy cut out one cheese as I wanted it to feature next to the sentiment; adding glossy accents made it very shiny!

I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the sentiment and images (it’s a water-based ink so doesn’t bleed when you colour with alcohol-based markers):

This Decorative Dots embossing folder has been retired for many years but still makes a great background!

The card came together quickly with the usual selection of adhesives – liquid glue, double-sided tape and Stampin’ Dimensionals:

MEANWHILE … I don’t normally photograph my food, but you have to admit this sourdough waffle with fresh fig looks delicious!
