Easter Treat Bags and a Wooden ‘Cross’

Hello dear friends! I’d hoped to post this on Make it Monday but … life happened!! My inspiration for this Easter treat packaging belongs to Darby Whittier; she provides instructions and a video on her Rejoice and Create website if you’re interested!

For the treat bags I used retired Designer Series Paper and just needed to do some scoring, cutting and gluing – voila!:

The ‘toppers’ involved some die cutting, scoring and stamping:

And the ‘crosses’ needed wooden clothes pegs (thank you K-Mart!!), some strips of dry embossed cardstock adhered to the front, and a strip of magnetic tape adhered to the back: I stamped and punched out the flowers from Daffodil Delight cardstock, and made the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Leaf Punch.

And now you can see what went into the treat bags (plus some Hershey’s Kisses!!):

Wishing you a special time this Easter as we celebrate the good news of new life in Jesus!! Thanks so much for visiting today, Megan xo
