Countdown to Christmas 2023: 10 weeks!

Hello friends! I’ve become a fan of Natasha’s Kitchen and enjoy trying her recipes. One of my favourites is this hommus recipe which receives compliments whenever I serve it and, as you can see, it makes a lot (that’s a repurposed 1kg container)!!

This week’s Christmas card uses paper from my retired Storybook Gnomes DSP stash. It’s double sided and I opted to go with the trees although the other pattern has the Hugh Cute Factor!

The embossed lights add to the Christmas feel, literally 😉 :

Two sheets of 12 inch x 12 inch paper (30.5 cm x 30.5 cm) give me 12 card fronts and the Shaded Spruce cardstock helps the trees to ‘pop’:

If you look closely you’ll see the trees I chose to decorate the writing panel:

A stamping platform like this always speeds up the process for making multiples of any stamped image:

I made a ‘belly band’ …

… to decorate the front of a C6 Acetate Card Box (retired) which holds 6 cards and envelopes and makes a lovely gift 🙂

A sideways view:

MEANWHILE … Costco recently had this for sale, very cheaply, and I couldn’t resist even though I already own a Philips airfryer, and yes, at times I use both!! Great capacity and being able to cook two different things at the same time is handy!

I hope the week has started well for you and thank you so much for dropping by! Megan xo
