Countdown to Christmas 2020: 4 weeks!
Hello friends! I missed making last week’s usual posts as I was very busy making these instead 🙂Â
75 lots of 3 different cards, plus packaging, to be gifted to all the lovely women who came to our very first Christmas Women’s Event held in the new church building – it was a wonderful afternoon despite the high temperatures outside!
I finished packaging the cards in the folders an hour and a half before the event was due to start (despite my best efforts to finish earlier!):
The package was made up of a card folder to hold 3 envelopes and one each of 3 different cards:Â
This stamped card used retired stamps and the sentiment ‘Joy to the World’ fitted in with the theme for the event:
The next card featured an embossed tree made up of the words “joy, love, peace, believe, christmas;:
The 3rd card used a stamp and dies from a retired Nativity set by Simon Says Stamp:
and most had this sentiment stamped on the inside: To package the 3 cards and envelopes, I made folders from 7″ x 10″ pieces of cardstock (scored at 5″) and decorated the fronts with a wreath stamp from Arrange a Wreath and ‘Joy to the World’ from Itty Bitty Christmas:Â
To hold the cards and envelopes in place I cut 10″ x 2 1/4″ strips, trimmed the sides as shown, and glued a strip to the bottom edge of each folder. I put the 3 envelopes on the left and the 3 cards on the right:Â
And here’s a close up 🙂
I then put the folder into a cellophane sleeve:Â
MEANWHILE … I recently made 600 sales in my Etsy shop!Â
Thanks so much for visiting me today; I hope you found a little inspiration for your own creating   Megan xo
