Christmas Countdown: 7 weeks!
Hello friends! I shared how to make these Hershey’s Nugget Trays in a post last year but wanted to remind you how easy they are to put together and encourage you to have a try!! You can use any paper to make them as long as it isn’t too flimsy, and I couldn’t resist using this cute Christmas pattern:
The paper measures 12″ by 12″ and if you look closely you’ll see I’ve cut it into quite small strips; they measure 3″ by 1″:
Each strip covers one Hershey’s nugget (cheap to buy from Costco) and mini glue dots make it easy to secure the paper strip. I made the trays from Garden Green cardstock then slipped the trays into these 2″ by 8″ cello bags:
You can finish them off by folding the cello bag over and just sticking it down (L), by tying off with ribbon (C), or by adding a tag then tying it with ribbon (R):
They can be given as thank you gifts, used as stocking stuffers or placed on the Christmas table as a take home gift for each guest! And children love to help make them 🙂 I hope this give you a little inspiration of something you could try for yourself this Christmas, and please let me now if you have any questions. Thanks so much for visiting today! Megan xo
I have a bag of nuggets! I should give it a try!
Do! Great way to use up scraps of paper and cardstock!! x
