Make it Monday: Walrus on ice and burnt eggs!

Hello friends! While there’s been some easing of restrictions in NSW, we’re playing it safe and keeping ourselves socially distanced for a little longer (our children will be happy!!). This week’s card is perfect for keeping in touch:

The We’ll Walrus Be Friends stamp set I used is another one with HCF (High Cute Factor) but sadly will be retiring in June: I did lots of embossing as I wanted to make a few of this card design:

This next step was a little messy, but fun! Watering down the multipurpose glue, just a little, made it easy to apply to the ‘ice’ and the Ice Stampin’ Glitter (retired) adhered really well:

So sparkly! Yes, I hand coloured and fussy cut each walrus 🙂

For this next card I used the same design but changed up the sentiment so it could be sent to someone still in quarantine: 

MEANWHILE … I was so busy making cards I forgot about the eggs on the stove! I only realised when I smelt a very strange smell, went to check and saw smoke everywhere!! As for the saucepan, I think its days are numbered 🙁
