Make it Monday: Rainbow Candle Cards!
Hello friends! How was your weekend? I had one of those ‘go slow’ kind of ones where you look back and wonder what you did (apart from getting crafty)!! Last week I started to play with the concept of Rainbow Candle Cards and since then I’ve made a few different colour combinations and candle sizes. I began with more traditional rainbow colours:
And made the usual mess!
Next I chose blue/green colours of cardstock, cut at 4″ x 1″ (10.16 cm x 2.54 cm), which I trimmed by holding one end at the 1″ mark and the other end at the 1/2″ mark on my paper trimmer. I adhered them onto a piece of white cardstock …
… then positioned 3 of the Rectangle Stitched Dies before running them through the Big Shot:
I used the Perennial Flower Punch to create the candle flames from Gold Glimmer Paper (retired):
And other possible flames can be punched from the Tulip Builder Punch or the Leaf Punch (retired):
This candle was embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder:
And I created the candle stamp for the inside of the card by using stamps designed for other things!
MEANWHILE … I’ve had some really big orders requiring careful packaging!
Thanks so much for taking some time out of your busy day to visit me Please ask if you have any questions about this card concept, or anything else you’ve seen me post! Best wishes, Megan xo
