Make it Monday: Rabbits!
Hello friends! Rain, rain and more rain – I hope you’re keeping safe and dry wherever you are! We went ahead with a planned visit to Sydney Zoo last Friday (a few photos below) and in between rain showers braved a ride on the big ferris wheel – we were the only occupants!!
I’ve put the ladybug card ‘on hold’ and today made Easter tags to add to some Etsy orders. I love including a little something extra when I mail out cards 🙂 This retired paper was perfect to include on the Easter tags as the pattern reminds me of eggs!
I used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch to create the tags from white cardstock. They can be any length and up to 2″ (5.1 cm) wide. This cardstock is 4″ x 2″ (10.1 x 5.1 cm) before it’s inserted into the punch:
I cut the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (retired) to 3″ x 1 3/4″ (7.6 x 4.4 cm) and adhered it to the tags with multipurpose liquid glue:
This Fresh Freesia cardstock is more pink than mauve, but is a fun colour for the rabbits! The rabbit die comes from the Basket Bunch Bundle (retired):
Quick rabbit tails were created using this Fiskars punch:
And Derivan KindyGlitz gave the tails some sparkle 🙂 I attached them with mini adhesive foam dots while the rabbit is attached to the tag using the larger ones:
Another retired product! This is the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon which I used for the top of the tags:
Cute!!
MEANWHILE … the rainy weather meant we got to spend a lot of time at the Aquarium and the Reptiles & Nocturnal exhibit:
Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you have a happy week, whatever you’re doing 🙂 Megan xo
Glad you enjoyed your zoo trip! ??
We did 🙂 And there were hardly any people there! 😉
