Make it Monday: Meandering Meadows Cards!
Hello friends! This Meandering Meadows limited edition paper is gorgeous so making cards was easy 🙂 The thick brushstrokes, vivid colours, and bright light add real depth and beauty to the scenes:
Two of the scenes as card fronts:
I cut some scenes into landscape panels …
… and others into portrait panels; both measure 6 x 4 inches (15.2 x 10.1 cm):
The extra strips will look very pretty as bookmarks or gift tags 🙂
I’ve made the detailed flowery fields into a central feature for the cards and added textile-like embossing to each panel:
The cards are bigger than I usually make as I wanted to capture as much of each scene as possible. This shows the size difference:
The white cardstock is already quite thick so I won’t add an extra writing panel. Two more portrait examples:
And two landscape examples:
MEANWHILE … another exciting kitchen discovery – plant based ‘cream’ that whips like ‘real’ cream and is a great substitute!
Thanks so much for spending some time with me and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week. 🙂 Megan xo
