Hello friends! A new week, month and season today and a new challenge to create cards for kids every day in June 🙂 This is a quick post as I received a very large card order on the weekend to work on today (18 sets of embossed cards – 72 cards in total!), and I seem to spend waaay too much time on my devices:
Children get very excited about how old they’ll be on their birthday so I wanted to feature numbers on this card design; I’ve started by going from 1 through to 5:
And many children also love balloons so I decided to feature these as well (sorry about the washed out colours!):
I’ve started using the Embedded Embossing Technique again. To do this I adhered the number to the balloon and then embossed the balloon using a ‘Happy Birthday’ embossing folder. The white card fronts are embossed with the same design and the balloon positioned using adhesive foam dots:
I added some Stampin’ Up! Baker’s Twine (retired) to each balloon and held the end in place with an adhesive foam dot that also helps keep the panda in place:
Finally, I added a balloon to the white writing panel using the Balloon Bouquet Punch:
MEANWHILE … I had a wonderful review left on my Etsy Shop; so encouraging!!
Thanks so much for taking some time out of your busy day to visit me 🙂 Please ask if you have any questions about this card, or anything else you’ve seen me post! Best wishes, Megan xo
