Make it Monday: Just 4 Kids!
Hello friends! A new week, month and season today and a new challenge to create cards for kids every day in June 🙂 This is a quick post as I received a very large card order on the weekend to work on today (18 sets of embossed cards – 72 cards in total!), and I seem to spend waaay too much time on my devices:
Children get very excited about how old they’ll be on their birthday so I wanted to feature numbers on this card design; I’ve started by going from 1 through to 5:
And many children also love balloons so I decided to feature these as well (sorry about the washed out colours!):Â Â
I’ve started using the Embedded Embossing Technique again. To do this I adhered the number to the balloon and then embossed the balloon using a ‘Happy Birthday’ embossing folder. The white card fronts are embossed with the same design and the balloon positioned using adhesive foam dots:Â
I added some Stampin’ Up! Baker’s Twine (retired) to each balloon and held the end in place with an adhesive foam dot that also helps keep the panda in place:
Finally, I added a balloon to the white writing panel using the Balloon Bouquet Punch:
MEANWHILE … I had a wonderful review left on my Etsy Shop; so encouraging!!Â
Thanks so much for taking some time out of your busy day to visit me 🙂 Please ask if you have any questions about this card, or anything else you’ve seen me post! Best wishes, Megan xo
Great cards!!
Thanks Stephanie, I’m glad you like them! I’m adding them to my Etsy shop 🙂
