Make it Monday: bookmarks for buyers!

Hello friends! Ten years ago, we bought this Samsung side-by-side refrigerator with the ice/water dispenser and it’s served us well. 🙂 In the last 2 years, however, it’s been having a few ‘issues’ (as you can see from the photo!) which include more rusting, water sometimes pooling on the kitchen floor and the automatic defrost in the freezer has gone on strike, so … Friday Fun Day saw Jennie and I on the hunt for a replacement – Paul’s happy to stay home 😉 The choice is overwhelming and while I really like the French Door Fridges that can accommodate platters, they’re quite expensive so … I need to do a lot more research before committing:

Finally, I’ve done something with these cute bookmark dies by Impression Obsession – a dog, cat and bear. It’s proving to be a great way to use up leftover pieces of cardstock and especially the scraps from retired cardstock colours!

I love to include a little extra something when people purchase cards from my Etsy Shop and I’ve decided to give these to my customers, packaged in lots of three:

Before sliding them into a narrow cellophane bag, I added some mini glue dots to the back of the tags and adhered them to a 6 1/2″ x 1 7/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock to provide stability:

I stocked up on these cellophane bags (2″ x 8″) when they retired from Stampin’ Up! a few years ago and am so glad I did!

The cardstock with the tags fits really well into the bag, and I sealed the top of the bag at the back using an EiderCraft sticker (doesn’t show here):

MEANWHILE … My online Woolworths grocery order included the ‘Odd Bunch’ capsicums; I received 9 red ones for just $7.90 so I’m very happy!

Thank you so much for dropping by and take care ? Megan xo
