Hello friends! Last week I had fun exploring the Secret Garden & Nursery out at Richmond. It’s a not-for-profit ‘Community Hub’ that provides people of all abilities with the opportunity to be involved in horticulture therapy. The highlight for me was spending time with these friendly chickens!! 🙂
I’ve been asked to make some mini note cards so I’ve been working on cards that measure 3″x3″ (7.6 x 7.6 cm). White cardstock always makes a great card base:
This design is all about apples! These red apples have been embossed with the Tasteful Textile pattern:
I punched out the apples with the Apple Builder Punch after I’d embossed the cardstock. Four adhesive foam dots were enough to attach the apple to the card front:
All that was needed to complete each card was a touch of glittery green for the leaves and light brown foam for the stems:
The cards came together very quickly and they fit perfectly into the mini envelopes:
The mini pizza box (still available in gold) is just the right size for 6 note cards and envelopes. I prepared an extra apple to decorate the lid of the box:
And here’s a close up!
