Friday Show and Tell: making cards for a gift!
Hello friends! It’s Friday and time to share something I’ve created that the recipient has now received! This time it’s a set of 4 pretty daisy cards that were given as a birthday gift 🙂 The card fronts featured these 3D daisies:
The daisies from the Daisy Delight stamp set were stamped first then punched out using the large Daisy Punch – you need two daisies to create each flower 🙂 The fuzzy yellow centres are adhesive backed and perfect for completing the flowers!
I coordinated the inside of the cards with the card fronts by stamping a matching daisy in the lower right hand corner of the writing panel:
For the packaging, I enclosed the 4 cards and envelopes in cellophane, tied the package with some pretty yellow ribbon and added a smaller purple daisy to the centre of the bow:
MEANWHILE … our older son’s away again with work so we’re minding the cat. He’s discovered that by touching the lamp with his paws the light goes on and off! This is my bedside lamp and he’s sleeping in our room so you can imagine what sometimes happens during the night!!
If you haven’t visited my blog before I want to thank you for being here 🙂 I love to share a little weekly inspiration and if you have any questions I’d be very happy to answer them! Have a great weekend, Megan xo
