Countdown to Christmas 2019: 9 weeks!

Hello friends! This week it’s all about Hershey’s Nuggets, well about how to package them for gifting 🙂 I usually package them in 2″ x 8″ cellophane bags but they’re retired so I came up with a new design using clear medium envelopes!

Please bear with me as there are lots of instructions!!

** The cardstock for each ‘tray’ measures 6-7/8″ x 3″ ( 17.5 cm x 7.62 cm).

** Score at 3/8″ (0.95 cm); 1-3/4″ (4.5 cm); 2-1/4″ (5.7 cm); 2-3/4″ (7 cm); 4-1/8″ (10.5 cm); 4-5/8″ (11.8 cm); 5-1/8″ (13 cm); 6-1/2″ (16.5 cm).

** To make 3 trays at once, cut a piece of cardstock 6-7/8″ x 9″ (17.5 cm x 22.9 cm), score it then cut it at 6″ (15.24 cm) and 3″ (7.62cm). Lastly, burnish the score lines really well!

Each nugget wrapper measures 3″ x 1″ (7.62 cm x 2.54 cm) and for the Christmas and St Patrick’s Day designs I cut 12 wrappers from a 6″ x 6″ (15.2 cm x 15.2 cm)  piece of the Wrapped in Plaid paper – very economical!!

The clear medium envelopes measure 5-3/4″ x 4-3/8″ (14.6 cm x 11.1 cm) and easily hold 9 nuggets!

** Place the wrapped nuggets in the cardstock tray;

** Slide the tray into the envelope;

** Fold the envelope over and seal closed;

** Add a belly band, 10″ x 1″ (25.4 cm x 2.54 cm) before attaching a tag. The tags use the Stitched Nested Labels Dies:

Christmas Design 1 uses the Pine Tree punch:

Christmas Design 2 uses a stamp from the Christmas Gleaming set:

The Easter version uses the Let It Snow Specialty paper and the Fable Friends stamp set – so sweet!

And lucky last is my St. Patrick’s Day design! I used two stamps from the retired Amazing Life set:

As well as the fantastic Snowman Builder punch and some retired punches to create the leprechaun – I think he’s rather cute!

It’s very late at night here in Sydney, Australia, but it’s still Wednesday!! I just had one of those days 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting me today and I hope you’ve found a little inspiration. Have a question? Please ask! Megan xo
