Freshly Made Sketches #393: a sketch by Lee Ann

Hi everyone! Lee Ann designed a “super easy and versatile” sketch for this week’s challenge at Freshly Made Sketches:With ongoing cat sitting duties I was grateful for such a flexible design as it allowed me to be distracted, frequently!!

Here’s my card with the inside writing panel and using a mix of current and retired Stampin’ Up! products:

The sketch’s focal point was designed using a layer of Poppy Parade cardstock, silver foil, floral Designer Series Paper and half a pearlized doily. Then some stamping, die-cutting and embossing, Wink of Stella and glossy accents and the flower layer was complete:

This has all been popped up with adhesive foam dots onto a panel of subtly embossed white cardstock; the sentiment “thanks” is from Well Written Dies:

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit today and I hope this gives you a little inspiration! Now, back to check on that cat …. Megan xo

  2. I’m enjoying your creative approach to these challenges. I look at the challenge and consider ways to incorporate it in a card design and then am always amazed by what you create.
