First Cards of Christmas 2017: Colourful Christmas Ornaments

Not that I’m counting or anything, but do you realise there are only 72 days left until Christmas? Eek, time to get creating!! I’ve already posted about the popular Nativity Card Design, but my very first Christmas design were these striking Ornament cards for A wish for Emily:

Each ornament was individually hand stamped and die cut. The ornament caps were then punched from gold or silver glimmer paper, and the completed ornament suspended from coordinating ribbon – perfect! Next, the ornaments were raised up with adhesive foam dots onto a panel of emerald green or berry pink hand-embossed snowflakes, and this was layered onto a white hand cut and scored card base:

Coordinating sprigs of holly were stamped in the top left and lower right corners of each card’s white writing panel and glitter glue was dotted onto the berries:

I’ve been selling these 4 Card Sets through my EiderCraft Etsy Shop and have been able to make a donation to A wish for Emily – yay!! Three more Christmas/Holiday designs are finished, including some tags, so I’ll post about them soon. Thanks so much for visiting me today. Megan xo
