Designing June #RAK cards
It’s so much fun to create your own stamped patterned paper; it looks different every time and you can make lots of cards at once – no two ever look exactly the same!! I used this technique when designing the June #RAK cards for the Random Act of Kindness Card Group. I only needed one stamp set (Work of Art) and stamped the A4 Shimmery White cardstock with the 2017-2019 In Colors from Stampin’ Up!; just love how it turned out:
I cut the cardstock into 8 pieces, giving me 8 card fronts and no wastage! I framed each piece by mounting it onto a slightly larger piece of black cardstock then adhered these to the white card bases. The stamped sentiment was cut out using an oval Stitched Shape Framelit Die and popped up with Dimensionals:
Finally, the inside panel was stamped with more Work of Art stamps:
In June, one card travelled to the United States, two to the United Kingdom and five travelled within Australia!
If you have any questions about the process or the products please ask, and I hope these cards give you a little inspiration. Thanks so much for dropping by!
