Countdown to Christmas 2023: 7 weeks!

Hello friends! A few weeks have passed me by and my countdown to Christmas is becoming more urgent! A recent trip to Costco saw all these goodies land in my trolley and they have me covered for Halloween treats to give out (just passed) and for Christmas treats to share 🙂

One consequence of Covid was that these Hershey’s products (American chocolates) were missing from Australian shops for a couple of years. Now that they’re back, I’m making up for lost time and using the plastic My Favorite Things Nugget Trio Shaker Pouches that I bought in pre-Covid days:

The Die-namics Nugget Label, Window, & Frame and the Treat Frame are also needed to complete the Hershey’s nuggets treats:

Stamping in Versamark ink leaves a watermark affect on the cardstock which I really like:

Cut like this, one piece of 6 x 6 inch paper (15.2 x 15.2 cm) covers 12 nuggets, and liquid glue adheres the treat holder elements to each other:

Just as well double-sided tape comes in various widths!

Experimenting with different coloured cardstock and patterned papers 🙂

I’m not sure if I prefer the green or the white border for these:

I may add a stamped ‘Merry Christmas’ to these, but I might also leave them like this so they can be given as a ‘Thank You’ treat or used as table decorations:

MEANWHILE…  we spent a few days in the country with our youngest son Andrew and his wife Sarah; this is the creek at the bottom of their property ~ some rain would be very welcome!
