THEN & NOW Thursday: Dinosaur Card!
Hello friends! My name is Megan and I am a craft supply hoarder! Especially of punches, embossing folders and dies; oh, and did I mention any stamp set with a high cute factor? To ease my conscience – and to justify ongoing purchases 😉 – I’m setting aside some time each week to design a project using both retired (THEN) and current (NOW) products and I’ll share whatever I create on Thursdays. This week, I used a retired stamp set (No Bones about it) and the coordinating Designer Series Paper while the Dino Days bundle, inks, cardstock, balloon punch, and embossing folder are current. The stamp sets:
Next confession!! I’ve wanted the Tim Holtz Sidekick for ages because it’s a mini die-cutting and embossing machine – 2 things I love to do 🙂 – so I bought it to cheer myself up after being sick for so long! Â
I couldn’t make up my mind what colour to stamp the dinosaur but decided that it looked too much like an alligator in green which made the decision much easier!Â
A little subtle embossing, punched balloons with adhesive foam dots for added dimension and the cards were almost finished:
