NZ Holiday: Snapshot 2

Hello friends! The Catlins, in the southeastern corner of the South Island, deserved much more of our time, especially as we had such a clear (if windy) day; we’ll have to come back!! A selfie at Curio Bay:

Sadly, this is the only penguin we saw (and there’d be no doing this to a real one!):

A display of sea-related bits and pieces caught my eye outside the Fortrose Cafe:

The next day’s weather meant no stopping to try some famous Bluff oysters!!

But I did snap part of this mural on the New Zealand Shipping Company warehouse wall while looking out my car window; see any oysters? 🙂
