Make it Monday: Thinking about Easter cards!
Hello friends! With Easter rapidly approaching, I knew I needed to focus on adding some new cards to my Etsy shop. I wanted a versatile design and really liked this one, but …
… I thought the embossed daisy background was a visual distraction so I added a white layer under the gorgeous die-cut Easter egg to help it be more of a feature. Much happier 🙂
This may be a little overkill with the adhesive foam dots, but I wanted it to make sure ‘the feature’ didn’t fall off the embossed daisy layer!
Adhesive sheets make it really easy to adhere intricate die-cut shapes onto cardstock:
Just peel the backing layer off, position the die-cut where you want it, and press firmly into place. Imagine trying to add little dots of glue to the back of this die-cut egg!!
The little rabbit shape comes from the Basket Builder Framelits Dies (retired):
And the finished card:
MEANWHILE … I love being able to pick flowers from our garden – 2 photos to show you some of the different roses Paul grows for me!
Thank you so much for stopping by – I really appreciate it! Have a good week, Megan xo
