Make it Monday: Teddy Bear Baby Cards!

Hello friends! I love that spring is finally here and we’ve welcomed our first daffodils 🙂 Paul knows how much I love flowers and planted these for me:

I’ve spent a few weeks thinking about new cards for my Etsy shop and have been experimenting with different designs. The first card I’m sharing is for the baby section, and uses more traditional colours: I love this cute teddy bear! It comes from the Stampin’ Up! Baby Bear stamp set (retired):To create the bear I stamped bear 1 in light brown ink, bear 2 on top of the first image in a medium brown ink, and bear 3 on top of this image using a darker shade of brown ink:

The bow is punched from retired glimmer paper using the Martha Stewart Ribbon Bow punch … :

… and it’s adhered with multipurpose glue: 

The panels for the card fronts were embossed with the Baby Boy and Baby Girl embossing folders:  

Warning! I used a lot of adhesive foam dots to adhere the bear to the card front!

And now the cards are coming together 🙂

MEANWHILE … It was very special to have one of our sons (and our grand puppies) spend a couple of days with us 🙂
