Make it Monday: Nativity Christmas Card!
Hello friends! I’d hoped to make more cards for the ‘Christmas in July’ challenge but I was kept pretty busy with shop orders – this is a good thing 🙂 I love how you can be posting orders to different parts of Australia at the same time – the beauty of people buying from you online!Â
In keeping with the Christmas in July theme, I bought this Peace to You set:
I wanted to feature the nativity scene stamp so prepped a lot of cardstock for trying out different colours:Â
I started with Starry Sky; it’s such a lovely shade of blue 🙂
Cherry Cobbler is also a great Christmas colour – this was my second choice! Using the Stitched Rectangle Dies made it quick to cut out the stamped scene and the coordinating matte:
Using dies like this also means it’s easy to make multiples of the featured image …
… and you know they’ll all be exactly the same size!!
The Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder is designed to add depth and impasto-inspired, palatte knife texture – still one of my favourites:Â
This is me trying not to overdo the adhesive foam dots 😉
No words needed:Â
And the 2 colours tried so far:Â
MEANWHILE … Another July activity was selling books under the Eider Books banner. Effective Eldership sold out and more have had to be ordered 🙂Â
Thanks so much for taking some time out of your busy day to visit me here 🙂 Please ask if you have any questions about this card design, or anything else you’ve seen me post, and enjoy your week! Megan xo
