Make it Monday: From my heart to yours!

Hello friends! It’s strange to think that the last 3 months have passed in a Covid lockdown blur with lots of online shopping, zooming to catch up with family and friends and for church, and receiving many card orders through my Etsy shop: 

Lockdown restrictions have started to ease and I’m excited to begin living the new ‘normal’ which will include sharing with you once again 🙂 This card comes from my heart to yours!

I designed these cards using some retired products – the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper and the Heartfelt stamp set:

One sheet of the paper gave me all these hearts! 

The smaller heart punch is for the paper hearts and the scalloped heart punch is for the cardstock; this colour is Coastal Cabana: 

The sentiment From my heart to yours is from the retired stamp set and stamped here in Calypso Coral ink:

I used Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the paper and white sentiment hearts to the cardstock hearts: 

And here’s what the brightly coloured hearts look like when they’re ready to adhere to the front of the cards: 

Embossing is still one of my favourite additions to cards and I tried these 3 patterns – Tasteful Textile (top one), Hammered Metal (middle one), and Painted Texture (bottom one): 

I decided to go with Painted Texture! 

The paper hearts are adhered first: 

Followed by the sentiment hearts which are popped up on adhesive foam dots for added dimension: 

MEANWHILE … My hair hasn’t been cut for more than 3 months and was driving me crazy so I recently gave it a 4 centimetre trim!
