Make it Monday: Cute donkey!

Hello friends! February seemed to disappear in a blur of eye drop dispensing (see end of post) and family busyness, so I have a little catching up to do 🙂 The biggest decision to make for this card was what colour to use for the donkey! I headed to Google and discovered they come in all shapes, sizes, colours and coat texture so … I chose grey:

The donkey is from this limited edition stamp set from Stampin’ Up! – just my kind of images! 

The colouring was straight forward and easy to do with these alcohol markers: 

More limited edition Designer Series Paper; I really like the ombre effect: 

And the sentiment came from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set: 

Look closely and you’ll see the shine and dimension that glossy accents gives: 

MEANWHILE … Paul had a cataract operation a month ago and this was taken at the start of my eye drop dispensing journey!
