Make it Monday: Christmas Gnomes!
Hello friends! I’ve finally started some Christmas in July cards – at least it’s still July!! This year I’m trying to incorporate some of my [MANY] Christmas embossing folders into the card designs. This cute gnome card uses the retired Seasonal Wreath embossing folder:
I recently bought the Kindest Gnomes Bundle and am hoping to have more time to sit down and play with the stamps and dies next week:
As the focus is on the embossing, I included just one gnome and used the dies to create him from scraps of paper:
He’s easy to put together with a few dabs of glue:
As I’m adding this card to my Etsy shop, I embossed a dozen card fronts and adhered them to the card bases like this:
Then all I needed to do was attach some adhesive foam dots to the back of each gnome to give some dimension to the front of the card:
Lastly, I stamped a coordinating gnome on the writing panel 🙂
I’m happy with this colour combination, but can’t wait to try a few others!
MEANWHILE … I was excited to be able to make another donation to A wish for Emily at the end of June!
Thanks so much for visiting me today; it’s always lovely to have you here 🙂 If you have any questions please ask and I hope this has given you a little inspiration! Megan xo
