Make it Monday: Birthday Flamingo!
Hello friends! There was great excitement on Saturday when we discovered these gluten free donuts at the Ramsgate Organic Foodies Market at Ramsgate Public School – it would be more than a decade since Paul’s been able to eat one! And how many did he sample? … he’d say, too many!! The outside …
… and the inside – yum!!
I periodically ban myself from buying any crafting goodies until I’ve used up more of my stash, so … I used this pretty Flower & Field Designer Series Paper today (retired) :
I chose this pattern and cut the paper into 3″ x 2″ (7.6 x 5 cm) rectangles and the Flirty Flamingo cardstock into 3 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ ( 8.2 x 5.7 cm) rectangles:
I adhered the paper to the cardstock with liquid glue, then the cardstock to the white card base with double sided tape:
Next, I stamped this handsome flamingo from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set (retired), as well as some of the smaller flowers:
The Flirty Flamingo ink is perfect for … flamingos! There are also coordinating dies to cut out the flamingo and the flowers:
And, as usual, I was overly enthusiastic with the adhesive foam dots – my excuse is that I don’t want things falling off! 😉
This greeting is from the same stamp set and was punched out using the Classic Label Punch (retired); I always make multiples as it saves time later on:
You can see I decided to cut the Happy Birthday greeting into two separate pieces; I think it works well 🙂
MEANWHILE … Paul wasn’t the only one to enjoy some donuts last week; these cute earrings arrived on Thursday 🙂 Which are your favourites??
Thanks so much for dropping by – I hope the donuts haven’t made you hungry!! Have a lovely week and stay safe, Megan xo
