Make it Monday: Bear Wreath Card!

Hello friends! As promised, another Christmas card as I prepare my Etsy Shop for the festive season! This more playful design uses a favourite stamp set 🙂

If you look closely you’ll see I also gave the bears their trademark shiny noses 🙂

And added a cute baby bear to the corner of the writing panel:

The Arrange a Wreath Bundle is so versatile for creating beautiful seasonal projects, but this time I just used 2 of the dies to create the wreath:

The leafy wreath I die-cut from Just Jade cardstock and the more berry looking wreath from Real Red cardstock:

I adhered them together with a thin layer of liquid glue:

The silicone mat keeps my desk clean from glue glitches and is super easy to clean!

The wreaths came together quite quickly as I’d already die-cut the pieces last week while watching Netflix 🙂

‘Celebrate the Season’ from Itty Bitty Christmas is the perfect sized sentiment for the bear to hold and I die-cut it with a Rectangle Stitched Die:

I added each bear to the card front by only applying liquid glue to the lower part of the body:

This meant I could slip the wreath over the bear then adhere it down in a couple of spots. The sentiment was attached using 3 small adhesive foam dots:

Such a happy card!

MEANWHILE … Covid-19 restrictions were in place, but we were privileged and excited to attend the dedication and official opening of our new church home (white arrow shows where we’re sitting!):
