Countdown to Christmas 2021: 2 weeks!
Hello friends! Goodbye Hershey’s Nuggets and Kisses and hello mini Toblerone chocolates!! They’re individually wrapped, gluten free and a perfect size for packaging as sweet treat gifts – I’m very happy 🙂Â
These Bon Bon Wrapper Style Treat Boxes (big thanks to Linda Parker for the design and instructions video) hold 4 mini Toblerone, but I could have added another one:Â
Yes, I’m using the Gingerbread & Peppermint paper again 🙂 I also used a scoring tool and on Side 1: scored at 1, 2 3/4, 3 3/4, & 5 1/2 inches (2.5, 7, 9.5, 14 cm); and on Side 2: scored at 1 & 5 inches (2.5 & 12.7 cm – fold along all the score lines):Â
Each 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) piece of paper makes one treat box and I highly recommend watching Linda Parker’s video, especially for using the Envelope Punch Board (retired product, but sold by other stores). These pictures also show where to cut along the score lines and where to add the double-sided tape (you also need to add tape to close the bottom of the box!):Â
They come together quickly!Â
Here’s how I packaged the mini Toblerone:Â
A chocolate Santa and Elf also fit – with room to spare 🙂Â
I tied them off with gold cord from the Simply Elegant Trim, but you could use whatever you have:Â
‘Seasons Greetings’ is from the Penguin Palace stamp set, punched out with the Pine Tree punch, adhered to a Rectangular Postage Stamp shape, and topped with a gold star (retired punch):Â
These could actually be made to hang from the tree!Â
MEANWHILE … a Capybara Encounter at Sydney Zoo was amazing!!Â
Thanks so much for taking some time out to visit me today.  I hope your lead up to Christmas has a nice balance of relaxation and rushing around! Have a happy week, Megan xoÂ
