Countdown to Christmas 2021: 12 weeks!

Hello friends! Did you realise it’s exactly 12 weeks until Christmas AND World Card Making Day? What a combination!! I made sure to spend some time in my craft studio and came up with this design: 

It has the potential to use up lots of this retired Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper: 

I pulled out a few of the patterns then selected 4 to start with: 

I used one of the Stitched Triangle Dies to make the perfect tree 🙂 (the arrow indicates which die I used): 

To add some texture I used brown felt for the tree trunks: 

And glitter foam for the stars: 

Can you find the star?! It’s from the Sweet Little Stockings Bundle: 

This embossing folder added lots of Christmas words to the front panel: 

The trees needed quite a few adhesive foam dots and I left a space at the bottom of the triangle for the tree trunk: 

I adhered the tree trunk first: 

The different paper gives each tree a unique look even though it’s the same card design: 

MEANWHILE … we had our first outdoor ‘picnic’ catch up with 2 members of our family today, something we haven’t been able to do for many months courtesy of the Covid lockdown. 🙂 We met at the beautiful Nurragingy Reserve which is only about a 10 minute drive from our home – so relaxing!
