Countdown to Christmas 2021: 10 weeks!

Hello friends! When I made these Christmas tags I was thinking of my family – dogs, cats and guinea pigs are all loved members too!! And this stamp set definitely has the High Cute Factor that I can’t seem to resist 🙂 

The Sweet Little Stockings stamp set has coordinating dies which I keep with the stamps by adding a piece of magnetic adhesive sheet to the inside cover of the stamp case. The largest die makes great tags with a stitched border: 

Rather than hand stamp and colour the Christmas stockings, I die-cut them from ‘Tis the Season’ double-sided Designer Series Paper (retired), but any Christmassy paper would work. This is one design:

I like to work out the placement of things before adhering anything down. This was me working out the best position for the different sized stockings on the tags: 

To add holes to the tags for ribbon, I made one tag the template, worked out where I wanted the hole to be, then placed the template on top of each tag before punching: 

This ribbon was left from last year’s All the Trimmings Combo Pack and while the green doesn’t match the green of this paper, the ribbon still looks okay with the red paper stockings! 

I stamped the animal faces in black ink and onto scraps of cardstock – Crumb Cake for the dog, Smoky Slate for the cat and Sahara Sand for the Guinea Pig:
