Countdown to Christmas 2020: 8 weeks!

Hello friends! Do you prefer 8 weeks or 56 days? I’m not sure, but either way … Christmas is coming and we’ve set up (but not yet decorated) our tree!! (see picture below) And I’ve started making Christmas sweet treat holders to share using this Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Die: 

I stamped the greeting ‘Thinking of you at Christmas’ in Real Red ink:

before embossing the box with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to give it some lovely texture:

Using a bone folder to gently curve the sides of the box helps the box keep its shape: 

You need to curve all sides like this:

I partially close the box before adding some sweet treats 🙂 This time, I found that 6 Hershey’s Kisses fitted easily into the box:

I die-cut gold and silver stars from the foil sheets and settled on a silver star, red and gold bells, and gold cord to finish decorating the box:

Such a sweet table decoration or small gift to share at Christmas time!

MEANWHILE … the tree is up because we weren’t able to set it up in 2019 (due to too many feline visitors!) and in 2020, anything goes!! (plus looking at it makes me smile 🙂 )
