Hello friends! With just 6 weeks to go I’m feeling very excited about Christmas, but I’m also realising how much I still have to do!! I wanted another Christmas card for my shop and have to confess that I prepared the Santa hat first then had to find an appropriately sized head to sit it on – cute koala to the rescue 🙂The hat stamp is from the retired Let it Snow set and I stamped it in Real Red ink:
On reflection, I may have been able to use the Brother ScanNCut to cut these out, but I used the hat die instead:
I’d only done a few when we had to visit someone, so I packed up what I needed and die-cut the rest of the hats while travelling in the car (thanks Uber Paul!):
Back home, I die-cut the 2 bells using Gold Foil and the Sounds of the Season Dies; the small bell was for the koala to hold:
And the larger bell was to decorate the inside of the card: MEANWHILE … I love flowers and received lots to help me celebrate my birthday! This gorgeous arrangement was from my daughter and granddaughter – they know me so well 🙂
