A wish for Emily #2

Meet Emily’s Mum and Dad – they’re such an amazing couple!! This newspaper cutting adorns our fridge and is my visual reminder to get card making for A Wish for Emily!! Mixed feelings all round as they head to Melbourne with Emily for 2 weeks of assessments, tests and consultations around the possibility of a multi-organ transplant. Not easy leaving their other children behind in Sydney.

I’m constantly encouraged by Emily’s love of life and cheeky sense of fun despite so many challenges; we couldn’t keep up with the bubble machine but we tried! 

Raising funds to enable the family’s eventual relocation to Melbourne, giving them the ability to support Emily during this traumatic time, is a slow process but every little bit helps! Starting in August, EiderCraft’s much neglected Etsy shop will receive a massive dose of TLC (Tender Loving Cards) and all proceeds from sales through Etsy, or purchases made directly from me, will go to A Wish for Emily.
