5 months today: that’s all I’m saying!!
Hello friends! Still very little crafty time due to lots happening at home, but I’ve started working on another Christmas project that I think is super cute! My inspiration comes from the lovely Julie Davision, a very talented Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and I’ve totally C.A.S.E.D her design (Copied And Selectively EditeD). Here’s the link to watch her making this Box Card with Drawer:So, how have I changed it up? I’ve used stamps from a different set (Signs of Santa, retired), and the paper is a different pattern but from the same Designer Series Paper series. I’ve also increased the size of the red circle and positioned the figures differently: The Real Red cardstock box was unchanged, and Mr and Mrs Claus and the elves were super easy to colour in using the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers:I’m not sure what I’ll put inside the boxes, but they could definitely hold a small gift or some yummy treats for the Christmas table!
Each of the figures has been popped up on the red circle with adhesive foam dots for some fun dimension; which one is your favourite? While I love them all, I’m rather partial to Mrs Claus!I’ve used a combination of retired and current Stampin’ Up! products to create these boxes – please ask if you’d like any more details! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit today and I hope this gives you a little inspiration! Megan xo
