Make it Monday: more VW Cards!

Hello friends! What’s not to love about online grocery shopping? Being delivered a whole pumpkin (on the left in this photo) that’s way too small for making the amount of soup needed! And yes, I had to buy another one – you can see the size difference and they both cost the same!!

I’m glad to say my card making has been more successful! The background paper I chose for this card comes from the retired Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper (DSP); it’s the one you can see with lots of ferns: 

The cardstock base colour (Lost Lagoon) coordinates perfectly with the fern DSP:

The small strip of paper, left over from trimming the DSP, works well as a coordinating strip on the white writing panel: 

You may have seen me use this stamp set before (also retired); the VW is my favourite image from the set 🙂 

After stamping the car in Memento Black Ink I used my Brother ScanNCut to cut them out. I added Wink of Stella to the windows to make them sparkle:

If you look hard you can sort of see the glitter!

The cars are attached with adhesive foam dots for added dimension:

With a little imagination you can pretend to be driving through a lush, cool rainforest 🙂

MEANWHILE … we’re cat sitting for one of our sons 🙂 And yes, I realise he’s sitting on the kitchen bench!
