Just One Valentine Card!

Hello friends and Happy Valentine’s Day! Aren’t these roses gorgeous? Paul’s been picking them for me from our garden (he also picks them when it’s not Valentine’s Day!) and I feel happy just looking at them 🙂 A few of the bushes have really struggled with the very hot weather so we’re appreciating a few cooler days at the moment:Today, I made just one Valentine’s card and it was for Paul! 

Of course it had to have some embossing:

I then die-cut these hearts from the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper (currently on the Clearance Rack for $8 a pack instead of $20!):

The adhesive foam dots I used have slightly different thicknesses:

This made it easier to overlap them on the card front:

The greeting and 3 stamped hearts on the writing panel are from the coordinating stamp set called Sweet Conversations (retired): 

MEANWHILE … At the beginning of the month, I set myself a daily challenge to make and post a new card on Facebook and Instagram using the 26 alphabet letters. It’s been fun and the discipline has helped get me out of my creative slump; these were the first nine:
