Make it Monday: A 21st Birthday!

Hello friends! I had lots of fun making this card for the bass player in my church band (inspired by a design from Brandys Cards):

Here are some of the retired products I used:

Inking up the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder like this, and running the cardstock through an embossing machine …

… added some really great texture! I’m happy to report that cold running water easily washed off all the ink

I coloured the guitar with Stampin’ Blends then fussy cut it out using my favourite EK Success Cutter Bee scissors:

A bit more snipping to separate the words:

And the numbers were die-cut from the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper:

I also added Wink of Stella to the guitar for extra sparkle

MEANWHILE… this has just been announced!!! Andrew and Sarah are overjoyed and we’re thrilled for them (and so exited to welcome a second precious grandchild!):
