A Special Birthday & Card!

Hello friends! Another busy week for us as we travelled to Yeoval on Thursday to support the Saturday grand opening of AusLive Auctions with Andrew and Sarah 🙂

Just a week earlier, we’d been celebrating their son (our grandson) turning one with a party at our place! The theme for Cali’s birthday was ‘Wild One’ and this is the card I made (giraffes are a family favourite so one featured on the front) …… with more animals on the inside (remembered to photograph the inside before I finished writing in it!) 🙂

And here’s a close up of the rhino and a rather cute frog!

I used this retired stamp set and dies, and coloured the animals using Stampin’ Blends:

The size of the card meant I needed a larger greeting on the front; so glad I kept this Stampin’ Up! thinlit die from 2017!! I cut it in red felt:

MEANWHILE …Ancestry has updated my ancestral regions with Ireland still claiming the strongest connection and my heart! 🙂
