Wedding Anniversary Time!!

Hello friends! Our wedding anniversary has snuck up on me so I spent part of today making this card so I could give it to Paul before the day ended!! I love that the words on the embossing folder are so relevant for our day-to-day life 🙂 Do you know where they come from? The heart was cut using a retired Sunshine Wishes die. To create the self-adhesive heart:
  1. I removed the top sheet from the adhesive sheet.
  2. I placed the card stock on the adhesive.
  3. I cut the cardstock using the Big Shot and the heart die.
  4. I removed the backing from the die-cut heart.
I then used the remaining red cardstock as a frame for my white writing panel; he’ll never guess I die-cut the heart from the same piece of cardstock! For the numbers I used the small number dies that come with the Sizzix Sidekick: And the glitter foam has adhesive backing which makes using it on projects really easy:  I was trying for some romantic symbolism (we’re incomplete without each other) so I cut the heart in two with my pinking shears. Problem? Once adhered to the writing panel you can’t tell it was ever in two pieces!    TIP: I set up these magnetic strips on a section of my desk bookshelf to stop me losing dies on my desk while I’m working; so far so good 🙂 MEANWHILE … a fun photo memory from a very special day! Thanks so much for taking some time out of your busy day to visit me 🙂 Please ask if you have any questions about this card, or anything else you’ve seen me post! Best wishes, Megan xo
