NZ Holiday: Snapshot 6

Hello friends! We fly home to Sydney today so I want to quickly share some highlights from the last few days. The scenery is breathtaking: imagine if we’d been able to stop rather than have me snapping out the car window (at speed!!)

A drive to the end of the road on the south west coast and lunch at The Cray Pot was so worth it, even sharing lunch with what felt like hundreds of sandflies!!

I loved how inviting this felt as we walked towards our first waterfall along the Haast Pass-Makarora Road:

And the colour of the water at Thunder Creek Falls was just gorgeous:

Many things made us smile, but these two made us laugh: ‘Big foot’ at Fox Glacier and a giant fruit sculpture in Cromwell!

We feel so grateful to have had this experience but will be content to be home 🙂 We’ve realised how much of Australia we’ve yet to explore!! Thanks so much for taking time to visit today! Megan xo
