Make it Monday: World Bee Day!

Hello friends! I made these two cards for Day 20 of the **A Card a Day in May** challenge; it was World Bee Day after all!! I wasn’t sure if I wanted landscape or portrait orientation so I designed both:

I used numerous retired Stampin’ Up! products as they were perfect for this card, especially the Hexagons DTI Embossing Folder for the yellow and gold honeycomb and the gorgeous bees from the Dragonfly Dreams bundle:

The sentiment for the portrait card is from the Fruit Basket stamp set:

And the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder adds lovely texture to the card fronts:

The sentiment for the landscape design is from the Suite Sentiments stamp set: 

And both cards have golden ‘honeycomb’ from an embossed gold foil sheet:
