Make it Monday: a Pot Plant!

Hello friends! In the card making community people have been busy making Father’s Day cards for weeks as many countries celebrate this day in June. I decided to create one too and now I’m ready for September!! 🙂

There are some lovely images to choose from in the Plentiful Plants set I used, as well as some great coordinating dies (Perfect Plants):

Do you collect garden pots? They come in so many different shapes, sizes, patterns and colours, but for this card I wanted a more traditional look and narrowed the colour down to these:

For the plants I chose 3 shades of green:

Once stamped, I die-cut everything out, and added some subtle embossing on the white layer. The ‘Happy Father’s Day’ greeting comes from a retired stamp set that I still use a lot (Teeny Tiny Sentiments):

MEANWHILE … I had a busy week which I much prefer to having nothing going on! I picked up my new glasses, visited family in Woodford where I saw lots of birds (and spent time with ‘Frankie’). On Saturday, I attended Equip Women which is a Christian Women’s Conference held each year in June. This year it was online with many, many thousands of women attending from hundreds of different churches! 🙂 Can you find me in the last photo?

Thanks so much for taking some time out of your busy day to visit me here 🙂 Keep well and enjoy your week! Megan xo
