Friday Show and Tell! And very cute dogs!

Hello friends, it’s Show and Tell time!! This week I’m sharing a very cute card that I designed for a sweet 5 year old who love animals 🙂 It’s a ‘Colour Me Card’ and features 5 dogs:

To create the image I lined up the 5 stamps on an acrylic block and stamped them once. I then cut the Whisper White cardstock until I was happy with the amount of ‘white space’ surrounding the image. The rest of the card was designed around this – I added a black matte and adhered it to a custom cut Melon Mambo card base:

I coloured the dogs’ noses black and applied glossy accents to give them shine and added dimension – so cute! 

And getting closer:

Heat embossing ‘Woofing you a Happy Birthday’ with white embossing powder gave the words a lovely raised finish and I cut them out using a stitched rectangle die – try saying that fast, it’s surprisingly hard 😉

And the stamps? This time I used My Favorite Things Lucky Dog Clear Stamps from Simon Says Stamp!

And in the non-crafty part of life? No more antibiotics after today – I’m just finishing my 6th prescription!!
