Hello friends! Yes, it’s that time of year again with just 3 months (or 13 weeks) until Christmas Day! Each Friday, while counting down the weeks, I’ll share something ‘Christmassy’ that I’m working on Today, it’s these pretty Christmas cards …
… that feature this gorgeous rainbow glimmer paper!
I used my Sizzix Big Shot and two retired Stampin’ Up! products (the Large Letters Framelits Dies and the Merry Tags Framelits Dies) to die-cut the pieces to create the word ‘JOY’:
I decided to use the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder to add texture to the white cardstock card front:
Here’s a little of the process:
I wasn’t sure whether to add the white ornament or leave the space empty to show off the glimmer paper:
I decided to add the white ornament and embellish it with a star that was punched from glimmer paper scraps:
MEANWHILE … Eider Books (I’m part of the publishing team) received its latest publication back from the printer; the author is happy!!
Thanks so much for taking some time out of your busy day to visit me 🙂 Please ask if you have any questions about these cards, or anything else you’ve seen me post, and have a lovely weekend! Megan xo
