Colour INKspiration #CI12
Such beautiful patterns and so many colours to choose from!!
The Colour INKspiration team wanted us to include at least 4 of these colours in Challenge #12 and while I didn’t start off trying to use them all that’s exactly what happened!! Nice to think of summer in the middle of winter:
How did I end up using all the colours? Read on!
Whisper White: I stamped on one piece of Whisper White to create my own patterned paper and adhered this onto a slightly larger piece of Whisper White.
Night of Navy: This was used for the card base, a layer under the centre panel, and the colour of the stamped sentiment.
Elegant Eggplant, Cherry Cobbler, Flirty Flamingo, Dapper Denim, Smoky Slate and Peekaboo Peach: I stamped horizontal rows of ‘sails’ with each of these colours using a stamp from Swirly Bird, turned the paper diagonally and cut a rectangle from the paper I’d created.
The deck chair is Cherry Cobbler, I used 2 strips of left over patterned paper to decorate the inside of the card, and added 2 Peekaboo Peach hearts – who doesn’t love summer?!
I’m supporting A Wish for Emily (she urgently needs a multi-organ transplant) and this card will be added to EiderCraft’s Etsy shop!
This card makes me want to go on holidays! Well done Megan!
Thanks Kristy 🙂 We’re going soon and it will be where there’s very warm sunshine!
Such a fun way to meet the challenge w/unexpected stamps and the chair is perfect!
Thanks Stephanie! I was happy with how it turned out 🙂
