Week Two of Shop Restock!

Hello friends! This is a card design restock (version 2) rather than a same card restock. For this version I’ve used the Splendid Autumn limited edition paper (double sided) with gorgeous autumn scenes, originally hand-painted in an impressionist art style, but not by me! Here’s a glimpse of each paper:

I cut all the papers in landscape mode to make the most of the scenery. 🙂 The front panel is 6 x 4 inches (15.2 x 10.1 cm), the strip is 6 x 2 inches (15.2 x 5 cm):

The Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (retired) adds realism to the painted look of the scenery:

And here’s a closer look at the added brushstroke-like texture on the card front:

The extra strips will look very pretty as bookmarks or gift tags 🙂

Like version 1, these cards are bigger than I usually make and this photo shows the size difference using the Meandering Meadows limited edition paper cards for comparison:

The white cardstock base is quite thick so I won’t add an extra writing panel:

MEANWHILE … I rarely make playdough these days, but I wanted some for a KidsChurch activity on Sunday. I was relieved when it went from looking like scrambled eggs to the real thing!!
